CTET Pass Percentage

Students appearing for the CTET exam must score at least 60% aggregate marks to qualify. Those who fail to achieve this score will not be considered qualified and must apply for the next CTET exam conducted by the Central Government. However, students who have already scored 60% or higher are not required to take the exam again, unless they wish to improve their scores.

There is a category-wise relaxation in the passing criteria. For candidates in the General category, a minimum of 60% (90 marks) is required. For candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and PWD categories, a reduced qualifying mark of 55% (82 marks) is applicable, offering them a fair chance to succeed. This flexibility ensures inclusivity in the qualification process.
