Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission Process
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan issues notification every year in which the complete admission process is given. This admission process is going to start from 1st April 2025 in which the admission process will be completed through lottery by filling the application form of class one. The last date for registration has been kept as 15th April 2025. Students taking admission in KVS school will be a part of the exam conducted by CBSE board.

KVS Online Admission 2025-26 Age Limits
For class 1 students, the minimum age for admission should be 5 years and maximum 7 years. For class 2, students between 6 years and 8 years can apply. For class 3, students between 7 years and 9 years can apply. For class 4, students between 8 years and 10 years can apply. For class 5, students between 9 years and 11 years can apply. For class 6, students between 10 and 12 years can apply. For class 7, students between 11 and 13 years can apply. For class 8, students between 12 and 14 years can apply. For class 9, the minimum age is 13 years and maximum is 15 years. For class 10, the minimum age should be 14 years and maximum should be 16 years. For class 11, students between 15 and 17 years can apply.
Application Fee
If we talk about the application fee, the admission fee is ₹25. The admission fee for class 2 is ₹100. The fee for class 3 students is ₹100. The fee for Computer Science is ₹150. The fee for boys of class 9 and 10 is ₹200. Whereas for class 11 and 12 Commerce and Community, the fee is ₹300. The fee for students of Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi Form 1 to 12 is ₹500. Whereas for class 11 and 12 Science students, the fee is ₹400.
KVS Reservation Seats
Talking about reservation seats under the RTE Act, 25% seats have been kept for backward classes under the RTE Act, while 15% seats have been kept for scheduled classes, 10% seats have been kept for other backward classes and 3% seats have been kept for scheduled tribes.
How to Apply KVS Addmission Form 2025-26
- For admission in KVS, students will first have to visit the official website, whose official website link is as follows – https://kvsangathan.nic.in/
- After that a new page will open in front of the students in which the admission link will be given and after clicking on it the application form will open.
- Submit all the details that are necessary like name, class, email address, captcha code etc.
- Whatever document is necessary for admission will have to be uploaded.
- After filling all the details, click on the submit button.
- The admission process will have to be ensured by paying the application fee.

- After that a new page will open in which the login code, children’s date of birth, mobile number, captcha code will be displayed on the screen and after logging in, you will get information about the admission status.

- For admission in KVS, you can fill the admission form by downloading KVS Admission App, for which the link of KVS application is given on the official website.
- From there, students can complete their admission process by downloading the mobile app.
